Advantages of Web Sites We Create Inexpensive to Set Up and to Host For a few hundred dollars, we will design and set up a basic site for you. You can have a home page, and four other pages to start. Typical pages would be About Us, Contact Us, Products, and Services. We will scan and put on your site your logo and up to ten other graphics or photos. For a small additional charge, we can increase the number of pages and/or the number of photos. Our monthly fee for hosting your site is only $24.95. Other hosts often charge double this amount. Easy to Maintain You do not have to pay us (or someone else) to make changes to your site. If you wish, we will show you, at no charge, how to make changes to the site yourself. Changes can be made in English, without learning a bunch of code. You will be able to change product descriptions, event dates, personnel names etc. If you have a scanner you can easily upload new pictures to your site. Of course, we will make changes for you, if you wish, for a small fee. Free Technical Support If you decide to work on your own web site, we offer phone help. Reliable Web sites are hosted on servers. Like any other computer, a server can fail. The older the equipment or the poorer it is maintained, the higher the failure rate. When your server is down, no one can access your web site. Our host invests regularly in new servers and back-up servers to keep your site up and running. While any web site (on anyone’s server) may be temporarily unavailable, this will be a rare occurrence for us. Have Your Own Domain Name, Your web site can have your own domain name: www.your domain name.com. We will register a domain name for you at no charge for our services. And the registration fee is currently about $30.00 for 2 years. (Some registrars charge $70.00). Your domain name is then pointed to our host for a one-time charge of $25. The monthly hosting charge does not change when you have you own domain name. It is still $24.95/month. |
